In the midst of the storm

Ending statement | In this life of Christianity, we tend to value the good works over sacrificial love. I just went and preached a sermon the other day, and it was fruitful; in fact, the Lord used me in ways I never knew were possible. The day after was one of the most miserable in a while. I took my eyes off the prize, and I felt like the work had been completed. I thank the Lord for humbling me in the midst of the day.
For those of you who teach, teach with diligence and fear of the Lord. Those who shepherd do it well, as their lives are just as valuable as yours. For those who give, do it with your life, knowing the Lord will graciously provide all of your needs. No matter what you do, remember that in the process, the greatest work ever was the cross. It was the central moment of all of existence.
Sacrificial love. The greatest work you will ever partake in is the gospel. The little moments of love behind closed doors. The way you chose to love your wife daily. The way you father your kids into the hands of Christ Jesus. The random guy you see at the grocery store who needs prayer. Who gone die to themselves and love daily? Why, you may ask, because love is free. A gift of Grace. Are you going to let the next man breathe?

I ask that you sow into this ministry if the Lord puts it on your heart to do so. We have three missions: to equip men in the Lord to lead, whether that’s in their home, their career, or their ministry. To provide for those in need, as children and women need resources and protection, and to disciple/mentor the next generation into leaders alike.
In your sowing into the ministry, you will partner to provide resources for the Men’s Ministry, Outreach Events, School outings with the kids, and so much more! Praying that the Lord blesses you with more Grace and Peace, and that you pray for me the same, In Jesus’ name, Amen.
