Faith… Trusting in the Lord is Love. One thing we can be sure about is our salvation (John 3:16 ESV). Another being, the Lord will carry out His will, which is to write everything on earth and in heaven together under the authority of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:10 ESV). We know all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord according to His will (Romans 8:28 ESV), so when we are transformed by the Lord through a new spirutual birth (Ephesians 2:10, AMP) and His will becomes our own, which is done in love, all things work for our good. This we can be faithful of.
The Lord providing for me and my wife to move in together and start a family is something that I can be faithful in. I can because the Lord promised for man to leave his mother and father and become one in Him (Genesis 2:24 ESV). I will trust the will of God! I will trust that whatever God does is for me in love. The only sure thing in this life is Christ. The only truth there will ever be is the Lord, and in Him I have everything I need. So, I pray that You deepen my faith Lord, help me to let go and let God. I put everything at the altar of Christ and say, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and that’s the peace of God manifested into my life. If you keep your eyes fixed on Christ, and trust in Him in all things, he will bring perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3 ESV). Once you let go and see all the things the Lord does in faith, that you dont deserve, you begin to see how good of a father He is.
Having a wife, free from lust, a roof over my head, food to eat, air to breathe, and clothes to wear are all great gifts from God. All great gifts, through faith, that I didn’t have any control of receiving. I do believe I will be a husband and father, but in Christ Jesus I have all that I need. I give these things to you and say, thank you Lord, but if you dont give me anything else, thank you Lord for just giving me you. Thank you lord for choosing me before you created the foundation of the world. Thank you Lord!
True Faith
Faith is showing your parent you trust them with your life and all the things in between. You just trust them in all things. Its like telling your mom, “mom, I trust you to get me this bike.” She then can say, “yes son, ill get it for you”, because your mom loves you. Or, she can say, “no son”, knowing she has a car for you in the near future, and she loves you, and she doesn’t want you to be satisfied with that bike to get you from point a to point b. And that is my problem with prosperity Gospel, because the bike in this situation was marriage and the car was leaving this world and spening eternity with Christ. The bike was wealth, the car was living below means learning to be content in Christ no matter the circumstance. Not to say the Lord wont give good gifts according to his will, I am saying the gospel isn’t just about prospering in this life, it’s about knowing Jesus and prospering in him forever! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Take my life, hold me close, never let me leave!
In these moments of doubt, fear, and unbelief, you have a choice. Do you trust the very gospel and Gods will in that, or do you go to this false self control to bring you out of uneasiness? Do you trust the Lord or Self?
Walk by faith (in Christ), and not by sight (self), and truly be free in the Lord!
