Inspiration | A poem inspired by a season of chaos in which I needed to drown out the noise. At times in your walk with the Lord, everything can just feel too loud. On my knees, I ran to worship, using my headphone beats to block out the noise.
Headphone beats (A Poem)
I look up to heaven, anticipating the Lord taking me
So much negativity around me
So much evil trying identify with me
I gotta hold every thought captive
By the Grace of God, I know who I am
By the Grace of God, I know this Foolish plan to man,
The Gospel
I look to the Lord to remove the outside noise
The thoughts that torment me
The Lord is my shepherd, I have all I need
So in Christ Jesus,
i'm at peace when I put on these headphone beats
We live in a world that killed a perfect man
To judge a perfect man, you receive the judge
To receive the perfect man in faith,
You receive an inheritance from above
Udeserved favor, never-ending love
So long-suffering, I pray for
Lord, please perfect my faith
in a home that's not a home,
In a world that's fake
All these lies people continually chase,
find another lie, then they chase after chase
neglecting Jesus as the only truth,
Putting idols in his place
Do we not see the news
Do we not see the evil running rampant in this world
There has to be hope in something greater, something more
How can we live life so dangerously as if there's nothing to lose,
And I watch from a distance, wearing my headphone beats

so beautiful
Only give if Christ placed it on your heart to do so. He is my provider! God bless you all!
